We have big news. Forty barrels big: We’ve just added two new 20-barrel fermenters to our trailblazing brewpub’s brewhouse.
The new tanks make for our second expansion this year, following an addition of two similarly sized fermenters last February. (Last February we also added a special fermentation room in our basement for our beloved open fermenters.)
The February expansion was the first increasing of Wynkoop’s brewery capacity in over 13 years. The latest build out gives us an additional 15% boost in brewing capacity.

The new tanks allow us to boost production of our year-round, seasonal and experimental beers.
Better still, they give us room for producing a new version or two of canned liquid art that we aim to release this year. Very exciting!
The fermenters also add some shiny new stainless steel to the brewery décor, and that’s always nice.
