Another of our cult-faves, it’s a tawny, cask-style session ale with toasted malt flavors and regal hopping from start to finish.  Marris Otter base malts, a slew of crystal malts and British hops make it the real-deal, English-style treat. Draft via hand pump only for creamy body and relaxed carbonation.

Our intense, sticky, Denver-style India pale ale is a hop head’s dream. Muscular but balanced, it delivers a lush hop aroma thanks to a post-boil addition of whole-leaf hops in our Hopinator hopback. These verdant gifts meld with more hop flavors and bite paired with deep pale-malt goodness. Revered by our fans of extra strong and extra hoppy beers. Draft only.

A blend of UK-malts and a Brit yeast add extra authenticity to this longtime Wynkoop favorite. Draft only by beer engine.

Home

We are the original pioneering brewpub in Colorado.

Being Denver’s first craft brewery isn’t easy.  Since we opened our doors in 1988, we have blazed the trails for the excellent craft beer scene which we are now a keystone member here in the Mile High City.  Our award-winning small-batch ales and lagers have pleased our neighbors, friends, and family for over a quarter-century.  Everyone who walks through our door instantly joins that family at their first taste of great beer and great food.

Our beers are lovingly handcrafted in small batches by our excellent team of brewers, led by Beer Maestro Andy Brown.  Using only the finest all-natural ingredients and pure local water, our distinct flavors are brewed to please all beer drinkers, from the novice to well-seasoned craft veteran.  We package our beer in aluminum cans because we firmly believe that fresh beer is the best beer- if you can’t have it off of our taps, crack a fresh one out of your fridge and it will taste as if you’re sitting at our bar.

From our start in 1988, we’ve worked to be good environmental stewards in our community. We have been recycling glass and cardboard since we opened our doors.  Today these measures are joined by extensive composting, recycling, and water and energy conservation efforts. We package exclusively in aluminum cans which are 100% recyclable, minimizing our landfill footprint.  We donate our spent grain to local livestock farmers.  Every action that we take we consider our environment as well as our family of customers.
